Yes I agree with one or two of the other reviews, the staff speak only Spanish, but we are in a quaint little town in Argentina, so this is expected, right??!
The staff are friendly and offer the tours / services necessary for Cafayate, ie waterfalls, mountains and bike hire.
The rooms are clean and tidy although in my room (No.1), apparently not some of the others, the shower was a little crap as there was no defined shower area and the water just ran towards the door. The room does have a mop thingy for this though. Not ideal but not too big a deal.
Overall this place appeals as it is quaint and because the outdoor patio has a parrilla, view of the mountains and is live with grape vines which make a fabulous setting. Unfortunately though my Spanish isnt the best and I never got to suss out how the parrilla works or is offered, in hind sight I probably just should have got the ingredients myself and just got involved. It didn't appear that they did a parrilla night or anything which you just sign up for.
I liked the place, and at this point in my travels was happy to pay the bit mire for the time to myself.
