We enjoyed our stay in Rusty-k very much. It's a lovely hostel with a beautiful garden for relaxing. Good location, 5 min to the center place, good breakfast and free WiFi. By the way the WiFi didn't work in our room, but in the common area and garden. Our room (private ensuite) was nice, spacious and clean with a okay bathroom. They didn't make up our room for 3 nights, but is okay for this price. We recommend the Quebrada-tour with Walter!

We found Rusty-K to be overpriced. The service & staff ARE outstanding and the courtyard a great place to hang out, meet other travellers and share excellent wines, cheese & bread. But the beds & pillows are really meant for one-nighters and you need to squeegee the showers or risk water in the bedroom. For a few bucks less we would've been satisfied, but at these rates we felt we could've gotten service, location & better sleep!

They did hook us up with an outstanding private tour of the Quebrada de Cafayate which we are extremely grateful for!

This small hostel deserves the good reviews here for its relaxed ambience, lovely outdoor yard/patio and good breakfast (unusual for Argentina). The staff create a friendly and sociable atmosphere, very conducive to an extended stay here. We stayed in early December in the hot and humid weather, but the courtyard rooms are well shaded and a pleasant temperature for lounging and sleeping in. Most of the courtyard is also covered and cool enough to sit in the heat of the mid day sun. Definitely recommended to explore this beautiful area and drink the excellent local wine !

We were completely blown away with the quality of this place. It's only a few mins walk to main plaza on a quite street. It has many common areas inside and out. The backyard with vineyards is a great place just to sit back and enjoy. Plenty of room for everyone. Room was really nicely done with a double bed, one massive pillow for 2, and a good sized bathroom with hot water (not that we needed it as Cafayate is very hot atm). Pablo and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. They have an asado most nights for 35pp which is good value considering its all you can eat and drink. We got it a little cheaper than their website by booking on hostelbookers.com. Stay here!
