We stayed in this fabulous posada in February, the owners who live there are very kind and very attentive to all sorts of guests.
The location is not the sea but the quality is so high that he is by no importance.
They offer a unique service every day with a boat pretty good lead those who stay at the beautiful atolls of their structure, the marine park is protected and is a true paradise.
Once you have arrived on the atoll is served everything from great dining services to stay on remote atolls throughout the day or according to your needs even half a day.
In the evening the atmosphere is intimate and welcoming Posada, the desire to go out, you can then stay on the terrace above the This accommodation to enjoy a fine drink.

We stayed at Posada Movida for 7 nights. Good food, service and familiar atmosphere. Mario took care of everything, always with a happy face! Daily trips to paradise islands with good boat and perfect lunch in coolbox. Nice clean room with AC and private bathroom. Quiet location for a good night sleep.

My husband recommends flyfishing for bonefish!

Los Roques is really a relaxed and beatiful place, we compare it with the Maldives! White beaches and clear turquoise water. You need a high sunblock, at least 30. You also need to have local currancy on the island, but it´s easy to exchange... black market much better exchange rate... Don´t forget to keep about 200 bolivres pp for leaving the international airport in Caracas. And it also costs about 160 bolivres pp to enter Los Roques, they only accept local currancy.

I have been to Posada Movida for 6 days and I have to admit it was one the best relaxing vacation ever! I usually go to 4 or 5 stars all-included resorts in the Carabeans (Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Bahamas, Mexico...) for my winter vacations and i wanted to try something different. Los Roques is a dream if you like unspoiled beaches, turquoise water, calm and easy going vacation. The staff at the posada is friendly. The Italian cuisine is great and tasty. Mario is always making sure you are having a great time and makes everything easy. I flew from Montreal to Porlamar (Margarita Island) and Mario took care of a direct flight to Los Roques. He paid the tickets and I reimbursed over Paypal. At our arrival in Los Roques Mario was waiting for us at the airport. There is an entrance fee of 130 Bf per person for the National Park. I only had American dollars on me and Mario offered to pay for me and charge it to my room. Always easy with Mario! We arrived early in the morning and our lunch box was ready for our first day to the beach. We discovered a new island everyday and when coming back there was always some light lunch served around 5pm before the diner which is served at 7:30pm. All the guests were friendly and we had pleasant diners at our big family table. We met people from many different countries and enjoyed making new friends. I would like to return next year for a full 2 weeks. Thanks again to all the Posada Movida staff for this memorable vacation.
