My stay at this place along with my wife and her mom was great. The island is lovely. The rooms in this hotel are clean and pleasant with comfortable beds. There is air conditioning in the rooms. The food provided during all the three meals was great. Delicious and memorable fooding. The staff were quite helpful and friendly. They always had the time to answer all our queries regarding the place. We enjoyed our stay here. My mother in law made some friends with the guests staying at this place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Posada Macondo is a wonderful place on a wonderful island. We spent only two days (one night), but everything was perfect. Sonia, Alessandro and the staff are very kind, friendly and always ready to help you and answer your questions. The food was excellent (breackfast, box-lunch and dinner), the room cute and clean (and with air conditioning) and the posada in general very nice. We definitely wanna go back to Los Roques and to posada Macondo.

I stayed at Macondo for 4 nights. Food is really good, the owners are very very nice, hotel is clean, rooms have A/C and the perfect size.
You get a chance to meet the other guests as you have dinner and breakfast with them at the same table and at the same time. Additionally, you the day trips that they plan usually take guests to the same island.
Overall it was a great stay. I totally recommend it!

This was a very relaxing place with very nice hosts. Trips to islands and lunch well organized and uncomplicated atmosphere - just a good feeling there.
