I stayed at The Manor for a 3 day walking holiday with my partner. When you arrive you walk into the interior and are presented with a very nice clean and quaint reception, (if anything i was worried i had booked this hotel for a walking holiday knowing I would be turning up dirty after a day in the mountains), this was never a problem as any mess made is quickly cleaned up by the staff. We were greeted by great staff and really looked after for the whole of our stay, I could not complement the staff more. Further to this the 3 rosette restaurant served great food for dinner and breakfast, we ate there every night. The indoor pool steam room sauna and jacuzzi was a welcome addition to a walking trip.
I suppose the only down side was the size and look of the rooms. They were very clean and comfortable just they didn't match up to the grandeur of the interior design of the reception rooms. On one of the days we stayed there was a wedding fair however the staff fully informed us of what would be happening and when and kept the disruption to a real minimum infact we wouldn't have known about it if we hadn't been told.
To conclude the stay was amazing, great staff, great food and a lovely location. We paid a little extra for the mid range priced room that gave us a standard room with mountain views. For the three nights we paid £40 per night with dinner coming to around £45 for two each night. Great Value.
