“Very Comfortable Guest House”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 May 2006

This 3 star B&B is in a good location for exploring the pembrokeshire and Ceredigion coast line. Coastal Path walks are glorious and easily accessible. We saw sealsl and dolphins on our last visit. We could walk into the town centre in five minutes where the shops are really quaint and there are lots of good eating places especially Abduls the Indian Restuarant .
The owners were very friendly the breakfasts were excellent. The rooms weren't huge but very well equipped .Another bonus for us was that it was completely non-smoking . We will certainly return.

“Absolutely Great Little Place!”

We have stayed at Brynhyfryd 2 times in the past 5 years and are planning another trip back this summer. Cardigan is way on the west coast of Wales and we chose to go there as that was where my great grandfather lived before the family moved to the states. It is a very quaint little town that's a good place to base a vacation from and make day trips. Brynhyfryd is a cozy comfortable little place that's very affordable and well kept. It is within walking distance to the center of town (10 minutes, maybe). The breakfast is LARGE. I couldn't manage to eat it all, but my husband didn't seem to have any trouble. Of course, I was saving room for the fresh home baked pastries that we would get walking in the village.
We went to:
Mwnt, a cute little one room church along the coast.

St . Dogmeals, an old abbey, church and little town right near by with good fish and chips. Don't order a hamburger, it's a mushed up ham patty, gross.

St David's, a cathedral and old monastery, very cute town.

Drove along the Pembroke coast.

Saw lots of castles.

Cardigan, Great place to go.
Brynhyfryd, great place to stay!
