I don't normally stay in hostels but i thought i would try this one as it is 5 Star rated - i loved it!

Each bedroom has a bathroom and the lounge area is inspiring. There is a vaulted ceiling with a boat hanging from it, lots of nautical touches and the most beautifully rustic kitchen.

It had all the facilites one nedded and more - including the huge wood burning stove - really cosy!

The whole hostel was spotless and the furnishings were new and clean.

Hope to return!

An inspired sleep on the magical Hebridean island of Harris. One of only three 5 Star hostels in Scotland. Homely feel. Lovely wood-burner. Great selection of CDs. Child friendly. Great for groups. Lovingly upkept. Patio areas and garden full of wild orchids in summer. Lovely walk along the shore to Rodel church and for the more adventurous up Roneval mountain! A special place to stay :-)
