“Excellent B&B in prime location”

We stayed for two nights at this great little B&B directly on the banks of Loch Goil in the small village of Carrick Castle. The welcome we received was very warm and Wendy and Steve were helpful and friendly throughout our stay, even providing us with some local walk details. The room was spotlessly clean, with very comfortable, cosy bedding and furniture. We also had a great view out over the loch. Breakfast of also very good, with good quality local food. I would definitely recommend Rowan house to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed at Rowan House Bed & Breakfast in April this year in the self catering apartment adjoining the main bed & breakfast. It was very clean and furnished to a very high standard, everything we needed was catered for. We stayed with our 9 month old baby and we had a highchair and travel cot set up on our arrival. The views across the loch are simply stunning and the views at the back of the house overlook the mountains. The owners gave us a very warm welcome.

Would definitely stay there again.
