Bev & I stayed at Roselyn on 6 July 2010 and were made to feel welcome from the outset,the Petroc room was superb with lovely wooden louvres on the windows rather than drab curtains which enabled me to keep the windows open on a hot night without flapping curtains.The room had a fridge with fresh milk & 2 bottles of mineral water supplied at no extra charge ( a nice touch) ,plus there was a big folder with plenty of info about padstow & surrounding areas and a street map showing you how to walk to the Harbour(another nice touch)
Car parking on the premises and a truly super cooked breakfast with all locally sought produce rounded off a great experience.

We have just spent three nights at Roselyn, and had a wonderful stay. We were greeted by Gilly and little Isaac as soon as we arrived. We were shown to our room which was spotlessly clean and very attractive with many "little extras" such as cotton buds and cotton balls, as well as usual things like tea, coffee, etc. There was fresh milk in a little fridge and also bottled water and biscuits which were replaced each day. The breakfasts were first class, locally sourced bacon, sausages and eggs and cooked very nicely. Gilly and Joff were very nice and would offer advice about beaches, places to eat etc if asked, they were only too happy to help. We stayed at Roselyn about nine years ago when Gilly's parents were the owners and had a great stay then, but this time it was even better. We will have no hesitation in returning there and certainly not wait another nine years! Thank you Gilly and Joff for helping us to have a much needed relaxing break! We would recommend your B & B to any of our friends.

We stayed in the large double room - plenty of space with separate seating area. Bed was very comfortable with soft, white bed linen. Lovely, huge fluffy white towels.

We liked the hospitality tray with bottled water, biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge and real coffee and a cafetiere. There were many little extras like complimentary toiletries, shower caps, cotton wool balls etc. Decent hairdryer, sewing kit and shoe cleaning kit.

The whole room and particularly the bathroom (separate toilet and shower rooms) were spotlessly clean.

It is obvious Gilly and Joff really want their guests to have a great time in the area - they were available to make recommendations but were never obtrusive.

Breakfast was lovely, beautifully cooked with high quality ingredients.

The B&B is a few minutes out of town but that means ample, free parking (Padstow can get incredibly busy!) and it is quiet. We found the walk into town really easy (about 10 minutes with Gilly and Joff's helpful map!).

A lovely, proper family run B&B - very good value for the area - would recommend!
