My wife and I spent a night at the Roselyn and our experience was...very nice. As mentioned in previous reviews the establishment is located in a residential area so the surroundings are by and large prosaic. We were shown to our room by Gilly and her FAR from prosaic son in a welcome that was warm and personable. Our room was comfortable and...nice, everything there to ensure a comfortable stay. Local knowledge was provided by our host regarding eateries and directions. The night passed in comfort and warmth. The second 'B' in our B&B experience was...very nice! Not too sure if the ingredients were locally produced, didn't care truth be known, all I can say that the portions were generous and more than filled us 'til dinner time! The valediction was delivered by the boys, and that (like the welcome) was warm and friendly. In conclusion the bricks and mortar side of our stay was fairly nondescript, however this was more than compensated by the affable nature that exuded from the owners.
