What a wonderful cottage and village this is! The peace and tranquility was just what we needed. The cottage itself is very 'homely' and the bed is the best remedy for a bad back! The location is something out of a Miss Marple book and some of the characters who live in the village are as well! There are plenty of places to visit and there is one beach which is a postcard from the bahamas on a nice day! No, I'm not going to tell you where this is, we want to keep it all for ourselves!

Our holiday here at the Retreat Cottage was, as always made even more enjoyable due to the lovely kind chap who lives next door. He has his own chickens and kept us in constant supply with eggs! He is also very partial to a drop of red wine so make sure you take plenty with you.

There are some good eateries close by; the very old Molesworth Arms and the Glasshouse are situated just a twenty minute walk into Wadebridge. If you like Indian food I can also recommend the Bash Bagan, also situated in Wadebridge.

This was our third stay and certainly won't be our last! I would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing escape.......Can't wait to return.....
