“Excellent Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Just returned from a week's self catering stay in a first floor bungalow which overlooked the pool. It was spotlessly clean, towels changed daily and had very comfortable beds with nice bed linen. There were plenty of very nice sunbeds around the pool and the water was quite warm. As we were self catering, we cannot comment on the food.

There are numerous restaurants/bars within easy walking distance with a variety of prices. We found generally, you got what you paid for as regards to meals! There are many beaches within easy walking distance, Playa Fanabe being the nearest, but we preferred Playa Del Duque.

There are numerous walks around the promenade - the walk to La Caleta is certainly worth it when you get there!

The reception staff at the hotel were very friendly as were the maids who always spoke when they met you. English people were definitely in the minority.

We had fantastic weather for the end of January/beginning of February so overall had a very nice, relaxing holiday in the sunshine!

“Well done hotel and Travel republic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

My husband and myself have just returned from 1 month at the above hotel and apart from one or two niggles we found it excellent.
Food superb; beds comfy; apartments clean and staff very friendly.
Only problems we encountered was it is a family hotel and at meal times it could be daunting with children everywhere. The solution could have been quite simple as there were two dining rooms one could have been for families and the other for adults only!
We booked through Travel Republic a service we have used for the past couple of years and to date we have not had any problems - so well done to them.
We travelled from Liverpool via Ryanair and had transfer provided via hotels4u.com.
all great and we only wish we could have remained there for another month - even the pool was heated for a very comfortable degree.
Thanks to everyone involved.
eddie and Val Kay

“Great location and excellent value All Inclusive hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Stayed for a week in Jan this year with a friend, our aim was a quiet, chilled holiday and that's what we got.
Upon arrival the very friendly staff explained hot to find our room, he could have just said find the pool and stop! We were right next to the pool in a bungalow...very nice!
The bungalow itself was very clean although the bathroom needed some modernising; it was just a little shabby.

We found the food to be a good standard and lots of choice, we sometimes ate the same things twice but that's more because we are quite fussy eaters than lack of choice!

The pool area is clean and tidy, I can imagine during peak season its very busy with kid’s activities etc, the pool man is also obsessed with putting the sun beds in very neat lines!!

The drinks were great as AI can sometimes be watered down or nasty..the local beer is Dorada which went down well....odd that they only serve beer or wine in the restaurant.

Towels can be 'rented' for 10 euro which you get back at the end, safety deposit boxes are 14 euro which is non refundable. Free Wi-Fi but only in the lobby area.

Overall a great hotel, I would go back and recommend.

Stayed here early December 2011 for one week on a half board basis have stayed in tenerife many times before but found this to be one of the best hotels very clean with excellent food and in a good location if your travelling as a couple and like peace and quit then spend your sunny days on the upper deck for adults only laying on the luxurious sun beds on a large deck of astro turf .if you like a good view take the lift to the roof top for a 360degree veiw of the resort its fantastic.the rooms are very big and spacious we even had a double balcony with a sea veiw.make sure you ask for high floor sea facing to get the best veiws.

Room Tip: High floors sea facing have the best views.

Excellent value for money, warm welcome, friendly staff, good food, excellent heated pool, we had a bungalow type accomodation, very spacious, with air con, if a little dated, clean sheets and towels every day, plenty of activities for the kids and the 'grown ups' if you want to get involved, or just chill whatever suites. best all inclusive we have been to. A pleasant change to be served drinks etc. from staff that are polite and pleasant. Plenty of sun beds. Food available at the pool bar if three meals a day not enough. supermarket and shops on the door step.

Room Tip: some ground floor rooms less quiet/private, as it is a 'village type complex'
