Stayed for 1 night and found the location perfect for center of Town. Slightly fading but reasonable rates.Still plenty of restaurants depite off season.

This place is good! If you come in winter, it may be a bit cool, otherwise perfect. We had the corner room above the check-in area and were happy, sweaters on! Outside the hotel, there are gazillions of restaurants, just waiting for you. Take the local dinner, consisting of a package of starters, main meal and dessert. Usually, it's a good bargain, and as the locals buy it, it must be good. And it is! We stayed for one night, coming from Gibraltar, leaving for Ayamonte. In later November, there were probably not many guests, but we were welcomed and offered other rooms too. In low season, especially if you like old cities, don't miss it. Jsut stopping for a night en route to Seville after taking the ferry from Tangier, this was a lovely town and a super place to stay. Unexpectedly large room at the front with balconies overlooking the street. Warm and welcoming even in the off season. Thanks to Barbara for making us feel at home.

My husband and I recently stayed at La Casa Amarilla for three days. The hotel worked perfectly for us! It was quiet, clean, and much nicer than many of the places we've stayed in Europe. The refrigerator and kitchen was a huge bonus because it allowed us to cook some of our meals. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in walking distance to everything in Tarifa. We will certainly stay here again next time we're in Tarifa.
