My family & I spent 2 weeks in what is a well located hotel - its only 2 minutes from the excellent beach.But the stay was spoiled by insects - wasps & ants in the rooms and the poor staff. The general feeling was that the hotel guests were a necessary irration. It was poor value for money and one place that won't be in my sights the next time we visit Tarifa.

I choose this place because I was traveling with my dog, once there I found out that as per the rules of the hotel the dogs must remain tied even in the rooms. The staff is quite rude and unhelpful, the rooms are quite dirty and ants are everywhere even in the bed. The tv wasn't working. If you leave the ashtray dirty you will surely find it in exactly the same place and still dirty after the daily cleaning. The hotel is not far from the beach but is not convenient to go walking as advertised on their web site as you should cross the N340 and walk trough a narrow path next to a road for about 15 minutes. I won't reccomend this hotel.

Just spent 4 very pleasant days at Cortijo Las Piñas.
The rooms are simple but nicely furnished. It is pleasant to have a small but adequately equipped kitchen included. The bathroom is excellent with plenty of hot water at any time of day or night.
Daily cleaning excellent.
The staff friendly and efficient. The situation (a very short ride from the beach) just what we wanted of a short beach holiday. Shall certainly be going back there soon.

Very nice place.Incredibly good to have rest.Not so good if you intend to have a lot of fun.Location is marvellous.Personnel was helpful.Would be much better if you have at least some Spanish.
