100% Fun advertizes beach access and that it is in front of the beach. I thought the beach was right there at the hotel. Was very disappointed to see that it is a 8 -10 minute walk to the ocean. You have to cross the major highway and then go through a different hotel to get to the beach. For the money, the hotel should be along the beach. Also, was disappointed that there was NO telephone in the room.

Be sure they charge your credit card in EUROS as they by default charge it in dollars (or native currency) at a higher exchange rate.

Swimming pool was nice. Breakfast was above average.

I had to stay an extra day in Tarifa and found a hotel in Tarifa for 1/3 the price and enjoyed it more.

Although right beside the main Cadiz-Tarifa road (quiet and peaceful despite the proximity) it was a little difficult to spot the sign at first, but well worth a few nights here. 100% fun is an oasis, the rooms facing the pool are clean, comfortable, light and have stacks of room for luggage. The restaurant food is first-class, not expensive, the steak superb, breakfast selection good. The chill-out garden area is wonderful for pre-dinner cocktails. Within easy each by car of Tarifa and the roman site of Bolonia and a short walk across the road to a fabulous beach where surfers/boarders/kiters hang out.

Stayed at the 100% Fun for 5 days as part of a whale and dolphin watching holiday with "Out of the Blue" (see [--] - Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society)...

When I heard the name I thought I was in for some serious whackiness, but in fact the 100% Fun turned out to be a great place to stay. It's small and relatively intimate with some good basic rooms which are well maintained. Breakfasts were excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant and "chill-out bar" was great if busy.

Don't miss the mojitos!

We stayed at the hotel with my teenage son, who wants to go back this year! The rooms were fairly basic, but clean (the maid came in every day), comfortable and fantastic value for a family of four. The breakfast, which is included in the price, is a wonderful buffet of fresh fruit, croissants, cheeses, cereals and fresh coffee etc. It is served in the restaurant which is a lovely open plan space and doubles as a mexican restaurant in the evening (again the food is faultless).

The bungalows are dotted around very attractive landscaped gardens, in the centre of which is a lovely pool and plenty of sunbeds. There is a trendy shop on site selling anything from flip-flops to african furniture - very handy if you've forgotton your bikini.

The road outside the hotel is the main road into tarifa, which is fairly busy but is safe to cross and not terribly noisy. Directly across the road are beach bars offering mouth watering meals and drinks. The hotel is a about a mile from Tarifa itself so i would recommend a car for families with young children.

We have been to Tarifa a few times, and stayed in different places, but i would not hesitate in recommending this hotel for its sheer value for money, great food and pool. Might even see you there this year!
