La Langosta has been in Fuengirola for more then 50 years and has always had a good reputation. With the death of Mom and Dad the son who is the chief and his wife are now running it and have made some changes but still maintain the quality and great ambiance that it has always had. They have added special Menu's at great prices, children's menus, Special gourmet menu's and their normal ala carte. They have good wines also.
It is a place that we have always enjoyed for a special dinner out and a place to go to celebrate birthday's and special events with family and friends from other countries. They have menus in several languages and Spanish and English being the favorite for the main menu. The owners were originally from Germany. With the change of the daughter-in-law running it has continued the tradition but brought a new generation feel to it also. Some portions are small but rich and filling for most people. The special menus are good value wither it is the cheaper special menu or the gourmet meal.
We will continue to go back and recommend this restaurant.

My family of 5 ate at La Langosta in August this year. For me, this is what dining out in Spain is all about. The selection of sea foods and size of portions was great.
The waiting staff were very helpful with deciding correct amounts for our party. We were very fortunate to get a table at approx 1pm because within half an hour, it was crammed with locals who clearly agree that this is most definitely one of the best eateries in the area.
