Small but cosy rooms that have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean apartments, clean pool area and very friendly staff that will help you in every way possible. The hotel is in very close proximity to shops, the beach and excellent restaurants, the bar "Tipi Tapa" opposite the hotel was phenomenal if you're after some authentic Spanish tapas! The closest water park is a mere 10 minute walk, and if you're interested in historical landmarks the 12th century Sohail castle is just a 15 minute walk along the beach. The local beers are excellent and very cheap and many local restaurants offer "menu of the day" options were you can have a decent 3 course meal for around 7 or 8 euro. Would definitely return.

I was a bit nervous after reading some negative reviews on here, but ourr oom was fresh and clean, the staff were more than corteous, the services totally adequate, I don´t really know why people who are paying very little for a hotel that is perfectly located for the bars, restaurants, beach etc are bloody complaining!!!!!
We drove there as we live further down the coast, (only in Fuengirola for the weekend) and therefore I wasn´t really interested in the pool, BUT, (and this is the only downside for holidaymakers) the towel brigade were out the minute the sun came up, claiming the sunbeds with their towels!!!! And they were BRITS!! Who then strolled into town for the morning, and left them there, so others couldn´t use them, if I HAD been there for my weeks´hols, I would have complained (although they do leave a list of rules in each room, specifically saying, ´Do not put towels on sunbeds if you are not there to use them´....But this is a great budget hotel, and I will be back

Absolutely loved it there. Clean and tidy, nice swimming área, bar great and run by lovely people, would recomend to anyone

I stayed 4 nights at the veramar and that was more than enough. When i made the booking i requested a seaview but was very disappointed when we got there we was on the first floor with a view of air conditining units and a block of appartments opposit us.
The kitchen had two electric rings, a fridge and a microwave, not big enough to be cooking in there.

The room was very dingy and very dated with no air con or fan in the room making the room very hot. It was quite noisy at times with the walls been paper thin.

The beds wasn't very comfortable. This hotel needs updating badly.
I certainly will not be going back to that hotel again.
