This is the second time my wife and I have been to the Jabega, the first time was about fourteen years ago, and we enjoyed it then, the apartments haven’t changed much but they are very clean and roomy and cater for all your needs, the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The location is ideal for sun bathing on the beach and the promenade has plenty of shops cafe’s and restaurants, at night it is best to go round the back of the Jabega where there are plenty of proper pubs and restaurants and here again everybody is very friendly and make you feel quite at home.

The Jabega is ideally located on the seafront, close to all the amenities such as bars, restaurants and supermarket. Rooms are clean and good value. Must recommend Kon Tiki restaurant for excellent food and for a quiet pleasant evening drink visit Formula 1 bar, we went there for Bingo on Friday night and had loads of fun and cheap drink.

my husband and i were at la jabega in october for a weeks break and it was just fantastic...we have been to la jabega on many occasions and not once have we found fault....as said in an earlier review the Kon Tiki bar was great...but the highlight was the meal we had at El Rio it was suberb !!!!!

Had great 4 days here. Location is right on the front, close to bars and restaurants but food at Jabega is also very good. Recommend bacon and tomato sarnie. Rooms were clean and had spacious balcony with 1 bed apartment. Close to Fuengirola Tuesday market too. A bit noisy because of the location but there's always a siesta if you need to catch up on sleep. Kitchen well equipped so if money is tight then you can cater in, supermarket, Mercadona, less than 5 mins walk. Suitable for all ages.
