We recently stayed at Westways for 2 nights while visiting relatives in the Roscommon area. There were 6 of us travelling together and were very impressed with everything about Westways. Catherine was the perfect hostess and looked after us very well. All the rooms were clean spacious and comfortable with all the amenities that we needed while there.
Not only was she very welcoming but nothing was too much trouble. It was really nice to have the conservatory to relax in rather than staying in our room all the time.
We would definately book to go back again when we are next visiting the area.

We were there in 2002. My sister-in-law said "she's a mom." Yes, she is. She dotes on her guests as tho they are her children. Wonderful. We stayed an extre couple of days just because of the comfort we felt. Am looking to go back this summer and want to return to Roscommon just because of Catherine.

Beautiful house, fantastic breakfasts, Catherine is the perfect host, a lovely, warm friendly lady, would go back tomorrow!! Both loved our stay there

This house was the most perfect place we stayed on our whole journey. And Catherine the nicest and friendliest bandb owner we met. She took care of us in a way that was overwhelming. When we arrived she gave us tea, coffee and cake and showed us around the house. When we looked at the other rooms, cause we were so curious, she realized it and said we could have any of the other free rooms of course. No, we did not change our room, it was so nice, the sun shone trhough the big windows and it was warm and the central heating worked very well.
We had a room with double and single and even the linens or lamps were in the same colour as the wall papers... a nice salmon-red tone - perfect! The only minus –that the wall papers looked a bit dated.
There is a small TV in room.
The bathroom was outstanding in black and white, very elegant with tub and extra shower cabin with glass door, modern lamps and shampoo, hair dryer, shower gel and soap. Perfect! Very clean and the towels smelled very good and were fluffy and fitting in colours to the sleeping room.Tiles seem to be newly laid. Bathroom has a good ventilaton system integrated with the light which prevents this nice place from mold.

You can use the lounge for relaxing as well as the patio which is the perfect place to sit in the sun and read or have a cup of tea or coffee with some biscuits and cakes.
Dining room is spacious as well, breakfast variety very good.
Great place, one of the best accomodation we had, for the lowest price we paid during our whole journey (Euro 27,5 pp)
