were do i start this is the worst B&B i have ever stayed in the place was unclean & unorganised its a real let down to the town i don't know how it has stayed open.
are rooms were a disgrace we had booked 4 in total they were very cold the showers did not work & there were hairs all over the bathroom on arrival as if somebody had just had a shave it also had a real bad smell. the decor in the room was horrible & the windows were dirty. no breakfast was provided the following morning but we were told that it was included when we approached the staff they said breakfast had stopped in JUNE!!
i have stayed in better hostels & i would defo not recommend this place at all its not cheerful or cheap its Rotten.

“Cope House, a night to forget”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 August 2007

Cope House, High Street, Killybegs, Ireland

The worst night we've had in years in a worn out room in bleak Killybegs, and that was in June 2007. Cope House is aptly named, it was as much as we could do to cope with it. The room was small, TV that didn't work as it had no aerial, double bed that was broken, view across the road to a bank (We had hoped for a harbour view) We sat and watched (through dirty windows) endless cars drive up to a money machine that refused to give money to a large percentage of its users. The pokey ensuite had a 5 minute wait for hot water. There were two restaurants in the hotel but both were closed, we appeared to be the only guests. "Breakfast is at 9.00am" we were told. So we duly appeared at that time to be greeted by the cleaner (nicest person we met there) and no breakfast. When we eventually got something to eat we discovered you can actually ruin bacon, it was burnt on one side and raw on the other and tomato flopping in oil, inedible.
