We found this place quite by accident when another B&B up the road gave away our room. We had a lovely room with a huge bed that was the most comfortable I slept in during my entire two week stay in Ireland. The owner Gillian McClafferty was incredibly hospitable. She allowed my two year old son to play with her children's toys. She sorted out helping us get back into our car after I locked the keys in it. (She had her father-in-law and brother-in-law come down and try and when that didn't work she rang a friend who was a mechanic. While this was all happening she plied us with tea and chocolate biscuits.) She then offered to drive us to and from a restaurant up the road so that we could relax and have a few drinks. Needless to say we took her up on her offer.

The B&B itself is lovely. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the bathrooms are modern. The B&B is located on a cliff overlooking the ocean and has spectacular views. The place is very child-friendly but don't be put off if you don't have kids. This place and owner is everything that is great about B&Bs.
