We exchanged our 4th of July Orlando timeshare for a week in Bella Vista Arkansas July 14th-July 21st. It was hot and humid, but we had a very nice time. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit at an II (Interval International) resort called Escapes! to Greens at Bella Vista Club. It was a lock out unit which had a Queen bed on one side of the unit with a bath with tub/shower combo, a living room with sofa sleeper and a mini kitchen with a 2 burner stove, small fridge and microwave. Unit also had a washer/dryer. The other unit was the larger unit with a full kitchen, dining table/chairs, sofa sleeper in the living room with a walk out deck complete with cushioned patio furniture and an electric grill. The master bedroom had a King bed and it's own bath room with a walk in shower and jacuzzi tub along with double his/her vanities. There was also a washer/dryer in the unit. The resort was very quiet and very well kept up. There is not a lot of things to do with very small children other than to swim in the pool or play mini golf. There are 3 pools one of which is an adults (over 18) pool and another is a kids pool which is only a foot deep. The remaining pool was open to everyone and there were 2 lifeguards each time we went to swim. There is a playground on site. We fished at several of the private lakes and although my son didn't catch anything big enough to keep he had a good time. The activities director is very nice and had all kinds of info regarding the local attractions. Hiked at several nice trails, went to Mildred Cooper Chapel in the woods, War Eagle Mill, original Wal Mart 5 and 10 which is now a visitors center, Daisy BB gun center and on a pontoon boat ride on Lake Lochmond. Overall we had a nice vacation although summers bring LOTS of humidity to the area. I think it would be absolutely gorgeous in the Fall when the leaves change. The resort is kept up very well and there are several golf courses around for the avid golfer. Plenty of parking and the resort even offered a small bucket of laundry soap in each unit and extra soap as well as extra towels. The beds were comfy. I had requested a pack n play and high chair which were not in the unit when we arrived and we had to go get them or would have had to pay a delivery fee which I thought was odd. Local WalMart super center was close by in Bentonville for groceries. I highly recommend this resort for a relaxed stay.
