We were there during rainy season, so got room reasonably priced. Ironically, the air conditioning was not working in any of the rooms while we were there, so the rooms got a little stuffy. The rooms were very clean, staff very friendly, and owner/her daughter spoke english, which was helpful. Centrally located, would definetly stay here again for the price (and would hope that the air conditioning worked next time!!)

The hotel has both cabins and rooms. The rooms have AC which was really nice considering how HOT Drake Bay gets. Sleeping w/o AC would have been tough. When we first arrived one bed was covered in ants, but the women on duty cleaned it right away and bugs were never a problem again. The hotel also offers packages that include your stay as well as tours. The trip was a lot more relaxing not having to set up our own tours. Drake Bay is a small area town but the hotel is really centrally located to a store and restaurants. It's also a very short walk to the beach, which is gorgeous. The hotel also sent a car to get us from the very small airport where getting your own taxi is completely out of the question.

We stayed in one of the double bed cabins with sea view $20 pp, we chose it for its price as Drake Bay is relatively expensive and reserved in advance. When we arrived at Sierpe we were met at the bus stop by Jademar's boat man who was very friendly. We also were picked up from the beach and drove to the front door which was great. Although it was only 10min walk. Our cabin was spotless, and had a great view of the sea from our private veranda. The reception had free internet, and we also found there to be basic kitchen facilties with fridge in the block of mixed rooms. Directly opposite the entrance there was a small convenience store and soda and 100m down the road was the Jademar restaurant which offered very reasonably priced food of good standard. We realy enjoyed our stay here and had recommended it to some friends who stayed here also. The staff were very friendly and if you struggle with your spanish like us the lady who runs Jademar speaks excellent english so was very informative.
