This is a beautiful home, very well maintained in an area not overrun with tourists. The view of the ocean from the balcony was amazing. It would be difficult to overstate the quality of our experience at Villa Mango. The staff did everything possible to make our stay perfect.

The villa exceeded my expectations. It was so well appointed and spacious. The villa was a joy to live in and call home for the week. My kids loved the pool. I liked the whole set up from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the bedrooms. Spectacular!!

It doesn’t get much better then this. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and definitely not our last. Casa Amigos is located about 10 minutes outside of Dominical in the mountains – a steep 4-wheel drive trip – well worth the excursion as its location provides a luxurious accommodation in a jungle setting! My husband and I -- and our two teenage children -- relished the beautiful views of the Pacific, the cool mountain temperature (a full 10 degrees cooler then down on the beach), the bucolic gardens with indigenous plantings, our lap pool (where you could stop and take in views of the surrounding rain forest and the Pacific!), and of course of beautiful and fully appointed villa … The kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipment we could need, there was a wide array of DVDs and CDs for our entertainment, plenty of towels and toiletries, our fruit bowl was overflowing upon arrival with local produce (some we had never tasted before) and our deck had fresh bananas hanging that both we and the toucans seem to enjoy as an afternoon treat!

Conveniently located to the local beaches and the rain forest, we found plenty to do during our five-day stay … while finding plenty of time to enjoy the peace and solitude that our villa provided. Vicky the resident manager was helpful with tips on local places to visit, restaurants and she is a licensed masseuse and both my daughter and I availed ourselves of her services during our stay (a nice bonus)! She was incredibly helpful and kind … But, no matter what we did during the day, our favorite part was sitting on our decks and watching the wildlife and enjoying nature’s gifts!

Casa Amigos has a sister property that we were lucky enough to enjoy during our stay that is equally majestic – Casa Mango. We can’t recommend Casa Amigos and Casa Mango enough … Made for a perfect vacation away from the traditional maddening crowds! Definitely worth a trip to Dominical to stay!
