Stayed for 5 days/4 nights to participate in a company meeting; self contained with meeting rooms, meals, reception and lodging on the property. We didn't really use it as a resort, but rather a venue for business meetings and group dining.
The Good: the facility was able to accommodate over 400 attendees in all our activities. Meals were excellent and every contact with staff was pleasant. The public areas were attractive in the expected Southwestern motiff. Shuttle from/to PHX was efficient, but be prepared to spend $23pp each direction. My upgraded room (called a Bi-Level Suite) was roomy and the lower level served well as a meeting room for 3 or 4. It also had a second full bath on the lower level, it you value that.
The Not-So-Good: The main bath was a bit small and felt dated (no biggie, but not "world class" as the resort's website positions.) The landline telephone looked as it was from the 70's and the speakerphone was awful. Wireless Internet worked for about 2 days, then inexplicably would not work; co-workers were having the same problem. The fitness center was better than most business hotels, but fell short of my expectations of a resort.
All in all, a good stay but not exceptional.
