We liked it here a lot! Lots of great details/details/details that make it worth any extra cost, compared to other hotels. The room was great---very quiet. Lots of lovely, vibrant art work tastefully displayed. Even outside in the patio/garden area there is some wonderful eclectic art-work. Breakfast was great too! Had dinner here one nite: Excellent! (At the very least enjoy a piece of their home-made berry pie w/ a scoop of their home-made ice cream....).
Beds were great and plenty of hot water.
One day we just came back and sat out on the fairly large front balcony and read our books while the Virgen Falls splashed away in the foreground....Splendid!
We were going to do a local Zip-line along the river and then Tim (The Manager, I think?) told us about a brand new 6-line Zipline that had just opened up. It was simply FANTASTIC!!!
It is up by the "Tree House"-----Hint: Go there after the zip-line to swing out over that crazy ledge and view the Volcano. There were 6 separate ziplines and it was the same cost as the 1 line by the river. 3 brothers set this up and it is really, really cool. They will even let you do 1 run, upside down and another run like "Superman"---Do it!! (You will feel like you are 12 years old again;-)
