My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon. The rooms were very nice and clean. 24 hour hot water. Location is not the best as it's a short cab ride to town for about 13 pesos. Staff also emailed us after we checked out claiming we had not paid & asking to send our credit card number despite the fact that we paid for the whole stay on expedia ahead of time. Needless to say we didn't oblige with that request.

This hotel is located about 20-30 minutes walk from the main street and action. I have a lot to say about this place, unfortunatly it's not good! First the phone and tv weren't working. We told the afternoon- evenningt clerk about it and he kept saying we didn't know how to usi it!!! After I asked him to verify he came to the room (not with a happy face) to verify by himself and said to us that is was broken... They never did anything to fix it. This clerk especially was very lazy never wanted to help nor to give you any information. Everytime you arrive at the hotel he keeps chatting on msn and aknowledge you after 2-3 minutes. I have to mention that it's very rare to find someone who speaks english in this hotel or everywhere in Ushuaia. When we arrive we didn't have any towels and the pillow didn't have any pillow case. We had to ask and, thank god the cleaning lady was there because this clerk didn't care at all. She was very nice and helpful but we never saw her again in our 4 days staying. No soundproof walls there, we heard our neighbors going to the bathroom (not pleasant!). I had reserve a room with double bed and when I arrive they said they were sorry they didn't have any double room left and gave us a twin bed room, it's not the end of the world but when I reserve a double room I expect to have it or to be told that they don't have any left. It's just a lot of small thing that makes it annoying to stay at this place.

Warming reception, helpful staff and free wifi, together with very comfy beds were the best features of Via Rondine. The breakfast is OK, but could be better.
