The location of this hotel is excellent (despite it being incredibly difficult to cross the busy street). Rooms facing the street might be noisy (we had an interior room). It is right in the heart of the city and therefore very convenient.

The staff is pretty attentive and friendly. The spa staff is extremeley friendly. The jacuzzis are pretty small, and the massages are a little expensive compared to what they cost outside of the hotel (but the convenience is probably worth it).

The buffet breakfast is really excellent. It even includes eggs, and there is a wide choice of fruits, fruit juices, pastries, breads, and cereal, etc. We did not have any other meals there, but they were offering a reasonably priced meal including a tango show one night.

The rooms are quite small, and the bathrooms are very small. There was virtually no shelf space for toiletries, which was a real problem for me as a contact lens wearer (there wasn't enough room for my contact lens things and our toothbrushes, let alone for anything else). The shower also suffered from the common foreign problem of an inadequate shower curtain/door. There is a 1/2 door, so the toilet and anything else in the bathroom gets all wet (of course the floor is totally soaked). There is also a moisture problem as evidenced by water marks on the carpets all over the hotel, and the room smelled a little musty (though it was clean). Waking up in the middle of the night the wall was "sweating."

I was satisfied with our stay, but I don't think this is a 4 star hotel (3 star is more like it).
