Check in took a good 45 mins because our guide didn't drop off our hotel voucher. We asked front staff office to call our local guide and her company a couple of times. All calls went unanswered. Front office finally called hotel manager and they let us checked in and voucher and whats not can be sorted out next day with travel agent tomorrow, thank goodness. We were served an invoice of USD1 for these phonecalls they made on our behalf which we were very thankful for but USD1 invoice seems a bit redundant?
Room: our room had nice view of the lake and Plaza de Armas. Room was on the smaller side but clean. Nice toileteries and towels with hotel's inscription in golden thread. Inside wardrobe was patchy with lots of wires but as long as the door was closed we didn't mind.
Food: breakfast had a nice spread with in-house baked cakes and bread and hot chocolate!
Didn't try the restaurant for dinner.
Service: friendly and helpful.
Location: right smack at the centre of Plaza de Armas. It doesn't get any better than this. We walked everywhere to shops, Alberto's, malls, everything was so close.
Verdict: nice hotel. Looked like an office block from front but room is clean, service is good location is great. Will stay here again.
