“Good location. Clean hotel.”
We had a deluxe room, and it was a good amount of space, enough for a large bed, TV, dresser, two nightstands, and a table and chairs. All of the furniture was solid wood, and the room was very clean. The one complaint that I had was that the room smelled like wood oil. Ventilating it didn't solve the problem. Perhaps it just needed more time to ventilate.
Apart from that, we had a pleasant experience with the hotel. It definitely helps to speak some Spanish because I think that the hotel staff knew limited English.
There was a free continental breakfast: bread, yogurt, cereal, pastries, ham, and cheese. It was basic but fine.
There is a computer for you to use with internet, but it is very old and slow. No wifi access.
The hotel is centrally located to the main plaza where many of the attractions are located. All in all, it is a clean hotel and great to use as a home base for your exploration of the city, but if it's luxury you are looking for, look elsewhere.
There is a restaurant just down the street called "Dona Salta." The locro there is excellent.
