“Overpriced and unattentive customer service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

We stayed for 2 nights (420 pesos, 75 euros per night). The rooms are clean but very basic and do not have aircondition like promised on the website. Walls and doors are thin and you hear every noise of people and children around. The bed was uncomfortable and me and my wife couldnt sleep well. The pool in the garden is clean and you can borrow free towels.
Although the owner of the house is very friendly and gives great sightseeing and redtaurant tips for the area, the customer service is unattentive. Generally there is no one at the reception and it takes 15 - 20 minutes until you find the staff. Although breakfast is promised between 8.30 and 10 we had to wait 20 minutes every morning until someone would serve us. Breakfast is very basic and you will only get fresh bread, cakes, marmelade, orange juice and tea or coffee. Neither sausages and cheese are not available nor a buffet.

If you are looking for great customer service and privacy this is not your place. You pay a hotel and get a hostel service. For families an option but not for couples.

I am so sorry that your stay with us was less than satisfactory.
It appears to me as well that your choice was not entirely correct one - we are not a HOTEL (our category is INN or Posada/Hosteria in spanish)

We value every single opinion and take it into account. So I reviewed each of your comments and have to apologize at first place for almost every day delay with breakfast it is due to usual delay in the bakery where we buy delicious german-type bread with an original flavor - that no other bakery does.
In our opinion so in opinions of other guests and friends - it is worth to wait for 15-20 minutes sometimes and have a fresh and recently baked, warm bread served on your table.

We do not have or offer air-conditioning. Nowhere on our website, it says that we do.

Customer service.... Our believe is that we do and give our best. But as mentioned before we' are not a hotel - simply an Inn, so there is no receptionist standing whole day behind the desk. And breakfast - definitely not a HOTEL one ( no scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese or sausages). It's more like Inn's. Great majority of our clients loves it.

Again, we are terribly sorry that your first experience with Las Acacias was not a good one, but invite you to give us another try some time in the future.
We greatly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us to improve and provide a better experience for our customers.

Kind regards,
Maciek Czauderna

With a homely atmosphere at this hotel you can relax as never before! Enjoy a wonderful breakfast, feeling the warmth and smell of a burning fireplace. Maciek, the owner, really took care of the comfort of our staying, so the service was excelent!!! For sure we will back there!

“Nice place to have a relaxed and pleasant time”

We have just came back from Las Acacias and must tell you that we had a great time there.Accomodation is simple, but the place is neat and clean and have a wonderful garden with swimming pool and many little garden tables with chairs distributed in such a way that you can enjoy the place without bothering other passengers.Breakfast is included in the room rate and although they don´t have restaurant to have lunch or dinner there they allow you to bring food by yourself or ask the owner for recommended places to eat atreasonable prices as we did and we were never dissapointed.Maciek, the owner, was really focused on customer satisfaction but with the kindness of a host inviting you to his house which I think gives his place an extra value rarely seen nowadays .

“Favourite place in Argentina!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2008

We stayed here more than a year ago as part of an extended trip around South America, and we still talk about Las Acacias. We stumbled upon this place by accident and had such a great time. It's not the fanciest hotel on earth, the accommodation is quite basic, but it is just really tranquil. I can't explain it, we just felt better after our time there! Maciek and his family are awesome. It felt like we were staying with friends, I didn't want to leave.

Villa General Belgrano is well worth a visit, and I recommend Las Acacias.
