“Great friendly budget option in Cordoba”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2009

We stayed here for two nights, and had a great time. The owner (Julio) and the two guys working/living there (Gabriel and Hernan) were amazing and friendly and great fun. It's an old house about a 15 minute walk from the centre of town, with a garden and a ping pong table, and a decent kitchen. We had a double room with cable tv and good wifi signal. The room was a bit tired looking but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The guys made us feel right at home, and we shared dinner, mate, a few glasses of wine and lots of ping pong matches with them!! They really made our trip to Cordoba for us, and were always willing to help out with anything or give advice on where to go etc... Nowhere else in the world (and we've stayed in a lot of places) have we received a welcome and goodbye like we did here. When we were leaving, all three of the guys waited out on the road with us for ten minutes, waiting for our taxi to arrive, then hugs and kisses for everyone before we departed!!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Cordoba, looking for budget accommodation, and want to stay in a proper old Argentinian house, with really nice Argentinian people.

“Staying at Julio's is like staying at a friends house”

Cordoba is a great city, however staying at Julio's made it even more fun. Arriving with my boyfriend after a 23 hour coach journey we were warmly greeted by Julio and friends. 374 is pretty small and there is a limited number of rooms (there is one double and two dorms which sleep up to seven) and Julio is so friendly that we were made to feel like we were staying at a mates house. Dont expect breakfast to be prompt (or even there!) but if you get the opportunity to partake in Julio's BBQ, do it., Its great fun especially if Julio challenges you to a ping pong match!

“An awsome find.”

What can I say about "The 374" ? a great old house perfectly well maintained, brand new mattresses, very clean, and the best service ever.
The Mias Brothers will really make you feel at home, or better. They manage to provide all you need without being a pain.
You want to be by yourself? They will just live you alone. You want a real Argentinean asado?. Julio will do all the necessary arrangements for you to heave the real deal. Want some advice about where to go?. Fico & Julio are two licensed “night animals”, besides, they know every excursion available in town.
The 374 was a great find. I feel I have a place in Cordoba now.

  • Liked — The owners. They do the service themselves
  • Disliked — an Oven would be a great investment. If you are not a cooker you wont care

The house is beautiful and i loved the design..i felt like i was sharing a really cool home with great friends.
Adored the garden..a peaceful place to chill in a hammock after a hectic day in the city..
I stayed for alot longer than i had planned due to the incredible hospitality and home comforts!! What a great find..you wont be disapointed.. this is the cleanest, friendliest hostel in Cordoba...book ahead as word is getting around!
