Well situated and having good previous experiences with the chain we were looking forward to this visit.

In reality, the room had a very average feel to it and smelled mouldy, room service food quality was below standard and we noted that the hallway connecting the rooms wasn't cleaned that often (obvious stuff laying around on the floor for a number of days). The bar closes early.

Overall, staff was friendly and helpful. Price/value wise - again would have expected more from this hotel. Nothing 'wow', all very average.

This is definitely a full service hotel to N.A. standards, with all one would expect. Well situated. Great fitness centre, pool deck, big rooms, and breakfast buffet.
However, it is big, with lost of people buzzing around. Not a small local hotel gem!

This was an outstanding experience. The staff was respectful and attentive. I happened to become ill on the trip and they took care of everything for me. The service was outstanding, the amenities exactly what I expect from the Hilton, perfect!

We stayed in Hilton for 4 nights in Dec, 2011. Here are the pros and cons.

Pros: good location - by the river, very beautiful view. Along the river are walking path and restaurants. Not far away to major sightseeing sites. Taxi in Buenos Aires is very affordable. Hotel room is very spacious. Begs are big and comfortable. There are several computors in business center with free internet useage.

Cons: service is average, especially housekeeping. Quality of buffet breakfast is below average.
