“Great hotel in Palermo!”

We had a wonderful stay at the Fierro Hotel. This is a small boutique hotel that is in a very convenient Palermo location...nearby restaurants and metro. While the lobby is small, the rooms are very large with everything you could want. Great linens, very comforable bed and sitting area. But the best part of the hotel is the accomodating staff; they were always very anxious to do anything we needed from booking restaurants and tours, to suggesting best places to walk. Just their friendly and accessible demeanor made us feel extremely comfortable. A special shout-out to Nicholas at the front desk who just couldn't do enough for us.

We got to the hotel early in the morning and we were offered coffee immediately, and were able to get into our room right away. And as amazing as it may seem, they allowed us to have a late checkout without a problem...and without a charge!

The restaurant at the hotel is first class; the breakfasts were great, and the tasting menu dinner was magnificent. If you love food, you should definitely try it!

“We'll be back!”

After a cruise my partner and I stayed in a huge room at this great hotel located in a lovely neighbourhood; Palermo Hollywood. Unfortunately just for one night.
At the time of check-in the reception area was crowded due to other guests checking-in. However, we did not have to wait at all since the manager checked us in personally. The way he did this made us feel at home away from home immediately. With a lot uf usefull information we were in our room within only a few minutes. Not a word that we came way before the official check-in time. A real good start of a stay which at the end was even extended due to a granted late check-out.
Some other good things to mention: Nespresso coffee maker in the room, extremely (!!!) comfortable bed, cleanless throughout, superb breakfast and last but not least the extremely friendly and helpfull staff at the reception and the restaurant.
So for sure we will choose this hotel again nex time we will be in Buenos Aires!

“Great spot, nice staff”

Stayed here on Christmas Eve 2011. We were able to check in super early & got upgraded, so our trip was off to a great start!

We stayed in the penthouse & the room was very modern & comfortable... though the bathroom was on the smaller side with a very tiny shower. It also appeared that they hadn't vacuumed the carpet for our stay, but I chalked this up to how early we checked in. The penthouse also has an outdoor hot tub & patio, which we didn't use but it looked inviting.

We left very early for the airport on Christmas Day & we had been warned by the hotel manager that it would be difficult to find a taxi. My only complaint was that, while there were two people working the front desk, neither of them helped us find a taxi. My fiance had to walk a few blocks to track one down. But this was a one-off occurrence & I would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: The penthouse was amazing & had a private patio with a hot tub.

“Great hotel in a fabulous city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

We had 2 nights at Fierro hotel before moving on to Patagonia. The hotel is located in the Palermo Hollywood area - a very modern and trendy neighbourhood. There are some lovely restaurants and cafes within walking distance and it is also a easy 5 min walk to a metro station.

Initial check-in was a bit shaky. The hotel had somehow lost one of the rooms we reserved (we booked 2 rooms) and as a result we had to share 1 room between 4 people for the first night. It wasn't too big a deal as the rooms are huge and it wasn't much of a squeeze to fit all of us in. They gave us a second room for our second night and as a goodwill gesture we were offered this room free of charge.

The rooms are very large and very clean. Decore is fairly modern. The pool on the top floor is quite small and there are only 4 sunchairs available. Breakfast came with our stay and it was lovely and very substantial.

The staff in this hotel are very friendly and helpful. We had some issues with our flights and they went out of their way to help us call the local offices and even offices in the US! They also gave us a great recommendation for a local cafe called Oui Oui which was excellent.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay with Fierro and would definitely book with this hotel again when we go back to Buenos Aires.

“great small hotel - wonderful service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

As the other reviews have set out this is a wonderful small hotel in a great location. The area is very new york soho . What the village used to be like decades ago. The staff are helpful and do care about their guests. one the first day there was construction next door and they made a point of asking the other building not to start until 9. The terrace suites are great
