My boyfriend and I have just spent 5 beautiful nights at the Rendez Vous hotel and we had a wonderful stay. We absolutely fell in love with Federico, the owner who went out of his way with his service and made our stay very memorable. We had a romantic evening organised for us and were given the room with jacuzzi which i can highly recommend. The staff were very helpful in giving us tips and advice about the restaurants and nightlife in Buenos Aires.

A MUST!!!!!!

We stayed here for two nights at the start of a trip to Patagonia, liked it so much that we booked in for another two nights at the end. Palermo is a great area, and this is a well-located place to explore it from. The rooms were a good size for a city hotel, the bathroom nice with a rain-shower head, and the breakfasts were good too (although a bit samey after the 4th time). The bed in our room was big and comfortable. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and happy to help out with everything. We found it to be good value for what it was.

This hotel is wonderful. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was a wonderful retreat after a day in the very busy city center. There were lots of nice restaurants near by to choose from and the neighborhood felt very safe. It is about a half hour taxi ride from the city center but taxis were reasonable ( around $8 - $10 ) and easy to use. The hotel will also store your luggage for you which is helpful since most flights leave at night so you can tour during the day and also if you plan to visit Iguasu Falls and only want to take an overnight bag.

We stayed at the Rendez Vous Hotel for 5 nights in January. We opted for the deluxe room with the balcony and jacuzzi and it was worth every extra penny. After spending the days exploring Buenos Aires, it was great to be able to return to the hotel and relax outside before heading out to dinner. Only two small issues kept this from being a 5-star review. First, as others have mentioned, the rooms are on the small side. There was hardly enough room for the two of us to unpack. Second, the first full day we were there, we awoke to no running water. After speaking to the front desk, we were assured that a plumber was on the way and that the problem would be fixed shortly. Not wanting to wait, we left to explore Palermo only to return 5 hours later and find that not only was the problem not fixed, the plumber had yet to arrive! It wasn't until after 10PM that evening (12 hours after we were told the problem would be fixed "shortly") that running water returned. We understand that these minor emergencies happen and are largely out of the hotel's control. However, we didn't appreciate the mixed messages from the staff regarding the extent of the problem.
