We stayed here for 5 nights in December 2011 for our honeymoon and could not have been more pleased. The hotel is small meaning the staff has more time to attend to your needs. They provided incredible recommendations for things to do and restaurants that were off the beaten path, and made all the arrangements for us. The wine bar is perfect, well stocked, and always open - a great way to unwind after a long day of walking around or have a bottle after dinner. We ate breakfast in the lovely courtyard every morning and the rooms were very comfortable (if slightly small) and well decorated. The rooms also have balconies which were great. The neighborhood is awesome too, our favorite in the city. We would absolutely stay here again - romantic, private, fun, and inexpensive. Definitely recommend!

The Miravida Soho is well-designed and managed hotel that provides a very relaxing stay in the Palermo Soho neighborhood. It is on a quieter street for this neighborhood, which is helpful. The staff recommendations are excellent, as is the breakfast that comes with the room. This is not a luxury hotel, and some of the rooms are small. But the beds are quite comfortable and the bathrooms are modern, if simple in their amenities.

We had an experience that could have been troubling, but it turned out to be exceptional. Work had been done on the hotel to install a new air conditioning system. Our first afternoon at the hotel, a tremendous thunderstorm hit. Within five minutes, a burst of water came down in one corner of the room, and water began to flow down the walls.

We called reception. They were there in 30 seconds. They got a plastic tub to catch the water, and helped us move our stuff to one of their best rooms. We stayed there for two nights, at the same cost of the small room, and moved back to the small room (after repairs) only because other guets had booked the larger room for the weekend.

The staff was comnpletely apologetic, as the person who installed the new cooling system (which works great btw) did not patch up the roof area when he finished his work. He had left a hole. Our last night there was without incident. This is a nice, quiet little hotel with a lot of character, and a great staff.

Spent 10 nights in hotel and had chance to both experience their service first hand and also talk with other guests about their own experiences. Only great things to report. Fun wine tasting, fabulous breakfast options, hotel clean and well maintained, close walk to good resturants. Staff accomodating in helping with suggestions and reservations. Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel while in Argentina.

We arrived in Argentina with no itinerary (our 3rd country in our South American tour). The staff were helpful with suggestions and long distance calls and directing us to a travel agent. After a month in South America the Miravida was like a palace, lovely linens, a plush bed with no crack down the middle, huge bathroom, great lighting, reliable WIFI and a terrace. The historic Spanish design of the building provided angled walls and ceiling lines, the decorating was warm and elegant, the crystal paned windows were lovely. The neighbourhood had low traffic with a park across the street and large lush trees for the much needed shade.

We stayed 2 nights while developing our itinerary. The first night we were invited to a wine tasting, which was generous with complimentary tasting food for only $30 - no need to go out for dinner. This experience totally motivated us - a visit to Mendoza is a MUST. We learned so much about the grapes, the climate, the industry and the process to make the best wines in the world.

We headed to the Atlantic coast for 5 days of beach time, returned for one night before flying to Mendoza for 5 days and then returned for our last night before returning to Canada. Each time we were warmly welcomed, (all staff could speak English) and we got to know them by name. In the 10 hotels we stayed in over a 6 week trip, this was by far our favourite and not the most expensive of the 10. This was also the best breakfast menu for our entire trip. The only downfall, dogs barking. This is no fault of the hotel, it was the standard in all of our travels through Brazil and Argentina - bring ear plugs if you want to sleep in. The Miravida is the place to stay. We hope to return some day.
