All the staff are extremely friendly, the best dancer of them all works in the shop! the free breakfast is very basic but tasty and fresh and the food on the menu's tasty especially the fish casserole. , the pools ok to cool of in and great fun for the kids, the rooms are basic but clean, although in need of updating, be prepared as the Bath's been painted and the tile grouting is in need of some bleach! hot water at night for sure and in the morning if your patient. apart from that you can't complain for the cost. If you leave the hotel be prepared to be hassled by the restaurants and barbers. Marmaris harbour's lovely but again be prepared to be hassled. Take a no2 bus just outside the hotel as it's more direct than the others. One other problem travelling to and fro, is the length of time from the airport to the destination, nearly 2 hours and this includes an uninformed stop at a road side, tented, 24/7, bric a brac, coffee, toilet stop. were you pay in lira and get change in sterling!

my wife and i unfortunately stayed here on 6th July 2011, and paid 80 Turkish Lira for a double with breakfast, and were given a room overlooking the sea on the 4th Floor.
clean and neat room, and all seemed well.
Then night time came. and it turns out that this hotel has a thumping disco on the roof terrace, that plays in to the early hours and that can be heard all over Anamur.
After a sleepless night it was a joy to cut short our stay and leave.
This was obviously the place to stay many years ago, but now has a rather desperate feel to it.

Just returned from Hermes Hotel and found Hotel staff ace . Always helpful and polite. Prices and meals very reasonable . Location was perfect as Buses all finished just below hotel.Pool brilliant and on whole a fabulous place. Accomodation is basic but clean linen daily and fresh towels

It is a great place to stay with a beautiful view of the beach. Food was very good. Friendly atmosphere.
