I went to this resort with my friend and her parents and baby brother. I, personally, had an amazing time :) I would go there again. It was just the right temp. for me, even in October. And the actual resort was stunning and very well looked after. The airport transfer was only 30 mins or so.
The food was brilliant. I can't fault that, they had lots of deserts, LOTS. And a wide range of food in the main buffet restaurant. And there were also a couple of other restaurants, I went to the Asian one and had a very good meal.
We stayed in the "bungalow" area, it was very clean and tidy. Not too old and dingy. The bathroom was a teeny bit cramped, but I like a lot of space. The bed was comfy and the little balcony was cute and it was very quiet where we were staying. My friend's parents had to ask for a cot which, unfortunately, looked a bit like a cage. The staff were VERY helpful and funny. The waiters in the restaurants were very friendly and I enjoyed talking to them.
Most of the day, me and my friend would go down to the bridge where the lagoon type thing flowed and it was beautiful and peaceful. Lots of hammocks and seats. And also a lot of things for us teens. A sweet little kids playground area.
The best thing, for me, was that the bridge led over to this beach. And it was really great. Clean and lots of sun beds around. The gravel at the waters edge is quite painful, but you get used to it.
The indoor spa centre was a highlight. A nice sauna and steam room, and a very cold plunge pool. The indoor pool was heated but not very much, and going in October meant we want warmer water. Overall, I had a very nice week there and so did my friend and her family. I would recommend to anyone, especially families. And I would most definitely go back there myself. Hope this helps those who need it.

Whilst the hotel is definitely not 4 star, unless you are Russian, it is 5 star compared to the one thing you must avoid which is the local taxi drivers who hang around the front gates of the hotel. A more unpleasant, aggresive, rude, money grabbing buch is hard to imagine, we ended up calling in the local police who along with the management at Letoonia showed very little interest, they have hardly progressed out of the dark ages. If you want to go into Belek use the local tractor ( great fun) which travels around the local hotels or get the hotel to provide their courtesy bus.

Having read the reviews beforehand I was expecting to do battle with Russians desperate to grab the last bread roll, and was afeared of the dirt that was to greet us.

Complete and utter poppycock. This is an excellent hotel, plenty of food 24 hours a day if you want, several restaurants, a private beach (bring sailing certificates), and a reasonable entertainment programme. Staff were friendly and courteous, and the whole thing was great value for money.

We went end of season and loved every minute with two kids 11 and 13. Both had plenty to do, and both enjoyed it.

hotel & staff all very nice would definatly go there again the hotel rooms are fantastic and clean pleanty of room in them to.. bathroom was nice.. we have never been to turkey befor but was very impressed with everything about the hotel even though i only eat english food i still managed to eat the eggs, the bread, the fruit, the pancakes, the some chicken cooked plain, drinks were cool bottled water slush puppys ice drinks so pleanty to drink as im a teetotal. the sea front was clean the toilets were always cleaned every time i went into one there was always some1 cleaning or checking them..round the pool was clean and tidy all the time.. when we went in a boat looking for sea turtles we looked at the other hotel along the beach but ours was the nice-est one to look at dont know what the others were ike inside but we mite try aother one another time..but i will always go back to the lwtoonia hotel definatly again you get what you see in the picture its genuin advertising..we went the end of sep to the begging of oct..i felt safe in thehotel which was a big thing for me as my huband went golf 3 times and i was on my own but i was safe.. who ever goes enjoy cos we did also u have got to go to the water raffting its great up the mountains.. from mandy
