We stayed with extended family for a week in Moose Run and Caribou. Great location for exploring Palmer/Wasilla area, and Talkeetna to Matanuska Glacier. In 30 years of travel I have never found a hostess as helpful and informative as Doreen. Thanks Doreen, you really made our trip a success with your travel/tour information! Pricing was very fair compared to other properties, especially for a family. Kitchen has everything you need (except an ice cream scoop, but I bet it has one now), the laundry facilities in the rooms are first rate, and the internet connection was terrific. Nice LCD TV and Cable kept the kids occupied during down time. The moose wander through almost every day, and the property and setting is dead quiet. If you stay somewhere else you obviously didn't read these reviews!

We stayed in 2 of the cabins over six days while visiting our son who is playing baseball in Palmer for the summer. The cabins are stocked with all the amenities needed - from clothes detergent to body soap. And, the kitchen was stocked with items for breakfast,. The cabins are extremely clean - cleaner than our home! I highly recommend this place!

We return to Tollers' Timbers every year for our little 'retreat'. We have stayed in the Eagle chalet and both the Fox and Caribou cottages. Each has been extremely clean, very comfortable and well equipped. They all have a unique feature like the gas fireplaces in the cottages and the views from the chalets. It feels so secluded but it's just well hidden from all the development. Oh yeah, and we saw a moose right outside our window too! We can't wait until our next stay... we'll try the Moose chalet. Highly recommend you stay here when you visit Alaska!.

We stayed in the Eagle View on the last night of our trip. We had a long drive from McCarthy and the spacious cabin was a welcome sight. The cabin is large enough to sleep six but I think that might be a bit crowded for me. Four or less would be comfortable. It is two stories with a queen bedroom, a loft with bunkbeds, and a futon downstairs. There is only one bathroom and there is a washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen is small but equipped with everything you would need. There is a deck with a beautiful view of the mountains. I saw a bull moose outside the bedroom window right before going to bed. This is a great place for an extended stay or for a stopover on the way to or from Anchorage at an extremely reasonable price.
