We stayed in the Fox Den Cottage at Tollers' Timbers in mid-June for 3 nights. It felt like we had our own house as there is so much space and everything is there that you could possibly need. The cottage was immaculately clean and bright. They provided a welcome basket that was very nice for breakfasts.
Doreen and Bob are very friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to see and do in the area. It is a great central location. They provide a folder full of information from how to operate the cable TV to places to eat and much, much more. They literally think of everything that you would want to know. It was wonderful to be able to do laundry in our cottage.
We would highly recommend staying here because of the great hosts and wonderful accommodations.

I stay at Toller's Timbers whenever I can, it is home away from home for me, clean as new, complete in every way...I love it, wish I didn't have to return to the lower 48. Friendly, private...wish it were mine.

My husband and I have come to Wasilla with friends to go fishing for several years now and have stayed at various places over the years. Last year we discovered Tollers Timbers and will look no farther. In fact, we just stayed there for the second year and were not disappointed. Bob and Doreen are terrific hosts and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The cottages are clean; the beds are comfortable; and the grounds are so peaceful. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

We stayed with extended family for a week in Moose Run and Caribou. Great location for exploring Palmer/Wasilla area, and Talkeetna to Matanuska Glacier. In 30 years of travel I have never found a hostess as helpful and informative as Doreen. Thanks Doreen, you really made our trip a success with your travel/tour information! Pricing was very fair compared to other properties, especially for a family. Kitchen has everything you need (except an ice cream scoop, but I bet it has one now), the laundry facilities in the rooms are first rate, and the internet connection was terrific. Nice LCD TV and Cable kept the kids occupied during down time. The moose wander through almost every day, and the property and setting is dead quiet. If you stay somewhere else you obviously didn't read these reviews!
