Very nice pension, clean and comfortable, placed nearby the very nice Kia Ora beach. The staff is very prepared (the owner speaks five or six languages...) and can help you with the organization of whatever trip you want to have. Bicycles are free of charge and is quite fun to ride up and down the island.

Pension bounty has a perfect location: near the only beach of Avatoru, and at walking distance from Tiputa Pass, which is the nicest place! Alain (the owner) does anything he can to let you feel comfortable, and he is very successful in this :-D!! Rooms are very nice and perfectly clean. Complimentary Wifi is an additional bonus. Recommended!

Everything including the accommodations seems to be very expensive in French Ploynesia. Pension Bounty is a reasonable place to stay especially for scuba divers and families because the multi-lingual (French, English, Italian and some Japanese) owner host was so friendly and kind to the guests. Fish-oriented dinners were good as well if you chose the half-board accmmodation style. I will upload my original video to introduce it for YouTube in the near future.

We were a group of 6 and stayed at the Bounty in June for one week diving. As we invested 3 of the available 4 rooms, we nearly had the pension on our own. The Bounty is nice and quite, and Alain has formed a beautiful garden with tropical plants. The rooms are clean and have everything you need (even mosquito nets). Each room has a terrace with brandnew sunloungers. Dinner is good (fresh Fish preferred) and Alain does not refuse any wish. Bikes are free to explore the island by your own. Alain is always willing to help you planning special trips (e.g. to the Blue Lagoon or finding the best Diving Center). Alain himself is an advanced diver and if you do not find him around his pension, he may probably be under water looking out for some tiger sharks! :)
Altogether we really enjoyed our stay at Rangiroa!
