A perfect place with good value and perfect service for "connaisseurs" who want to have a real peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable vacation. They offer comfortable private bungalows a few yards away from the water front in a beautiful tropical garden with singing benchiwis....birds!

You can enjoy breakfast on the terrace of the large colonial style family villa with a lot of tropical fruits, excellent brazilian coffee and especially cakes, home made by Betina personally the host of the pousada da amendoeira. If you happen to have been out all night on the week-end and get up at 2pm...you can be sure that Betina left a thermos with frech coffee for you on the terrace ! She and her husband took us to the most beautiful islands you can imagine leaving directly from their private peer with a traditional fisherman's boat...although they are surrounded by marinas with the most exclusive villas and jet set yachts you can imagine...the simplicity of their pousada makes you feel like a member of their family. An excellent recommendation for families with small children and of course "honeymooners" I was there with my family last november, december 2004 and I have already booked for nov.dec.2005.
