“Amazing hotel if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

Spent 10 days at this hotel and loved every minute. Close to the village and beach, plus a small shop just around the corner. I went with my boyfriend and our days were spent lying in the hammocks by the pool going for the occasional swim. The pool was pretty much empty at all times of the day, with no roudy groups, we also never had any issue with getting a sun lounger. The free tea and cakes at 4pm where a lovely addition and the lunch time pancakes are a must. Highly recommend Cirali in general for a visit although it is a stoney beach so take good beach shoes as the beach is also wide so a bit of a walk to the sea.

Resturants in the area are also very good and Denny's bar along the beach front is a lovely place to visit after your meal to listen to the live local music, he does sing the same songs each night however.

Overall an amazing experience with very friendly hotel staff and locals. The Turkish do seem to work very hard and excellant customer service is clearly very important to them. Wish the UK had a bit more of their attitude when it came to service.

“Surely the best in Cirali”

Just a quick review as the other reviews seem very accurate. Spacious gardens with trees, hammocks and seating areas. Well maintained pool. Very welcoming, child friendly staff. Afternoon tea/coffee with cakes a nice touch. Easy access to the beach and village. One could spend all day (several days) doing very little here except relaxing and destressing.....and that's exactly what we did after several days walking the Lycian Way. We passed through Cirali several days earlier (stayed at Ozge Pension....also very nice if you are looking for something simpler with no pool) and identified Hotel Odile and Cirali as somewhere we would like to return to for a few days rest at the end of our walk. When we finished walking we did stop one night at Kas but disliked the commercialism and so took refuge at Hotel Odile. My only surprise is that this isn't rated number 1 in Cirali....not sure how you could improve on this. Thanks Kemal....keep reading the Shakespeare!

“Gorgeous grounds, best pool in the area, comprehension not so good.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2011

Truly gorgeous location in an area that seems to be unaffected by building booms and highrise complexes. The grounds are well kepw, lucious green and flowers everywhere. Just across the road from a lovely pebbe beach. Pleasant walk to amazing ruins in the forest at the base of Olymp. The pool is large and clean, although no kiddies depth. Only for the swimworthy, The employees are very friendly, but not very efficient an not very proficient in English. So it never harms to give your instructions firmly, simply and more than once. The manager speaks good german and usable english. The rooms are all on one level spread around the grounds like small rows of council houses but all hidden by greenery. Inside they are spartan but comfortable with working AC and a small fridge. No TV or internet. Internet is available as wifi in the dining and pool area. The only really negative thing I have to say is that the personell don't seem to understand the importance of keeping your guests informed. They emotied the pool in the middle of our stay for cleaning and maintainance without any forwarning, so for two days of our stay the kids were without a pool. Our room was lacking several lightbulbs, these were never replaced despite nagging the reception several times.
The head waiter consequently got our orders wrong except for on our last meal were gave him instrauctions ala Basil Fawlty instructing Manuel! Also be aware, that your room will not be cleaned unless you hang the sign on the door. Despite these quibbles our time in Odile was great, simply because it is such a lovely place.

“Great hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

We had a great stay at Odile - lovely peaceful setting at the foot of the mountains, very friendly staff and a large air-conditioned room. Would most definitely stay there again. Ideal for families with young children. Would have liked the hotel to provide more information about trips and activities near to the hotel and also to explain that the rooms are cleaned when you place the tag on the door.

“Great property and location, room OK, bad communication”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2011

The hotel property was gorgeous, and one of the best in the area. We spent a lot of time in the pool, which was great, I just wish it was a little shallower, because I am only 5'3" and I couldn't touch anywhere, which made it hard to play with the kids, but we still had a great time. The room was functional, nothing special, our shower door was cracked and we ended up with water everywhere all the time, but the AC worked very well, which was a requirement for August. The hot part of the breakfast looked scary some mornings, it was usually something from the dinner the night before reheated with eggs. The staff was very friendly and great with the kids, but I was disappointed in the lack of english. Simple requests like more towels were frustrating, and trying to find out information about the turtles, Chimeara, ruins, boat trips, anything was near impossible, and we ended up going to dinner one night at Hotel Canada just to talk to the owner there in english (she was marvelous by the way). Because of the pool and the location right on the beach we would probably stay there again if we were in Cirali, but there was a lot of room for improvement.
