Casa cu Cerb - or the House with Stag or House with Antlers -- is a historic house, founded in the 15th Century -- and carefully restored about 10 years ago by a Munich Foundation. The location is wonderful, in the middle of town, by the Clock Tower and the main square. The rooms were nice and have good views, but as someone else mentioned, there is no elevator and most of the rooms are on the 3rd or 4th floor, but someone can help carry your luggage. The staff are friendly and the food is good. The stag or antlers reference refers to an architectural design flourish. On the corner of the building, protruding into the town square, is a set of antlers and paintings of a stag on either side of the building. The hotel is just steps away from the house where Vlad Tepes - - Dracula -- was born and just down the street from the Clock Tower. Everything is in the midst of a UNESCO world heritage site as one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe.
