Owners are onsite and wonderfully friendly and helpful people. Accommodations are spotless, spacious, and every amenity is top of the line. Full breakfast every morning is gourmet excellent. Wide, safe, dock just outside your door for salmon fishing on the World-Famous Kenai River.

Just got home from a 10 day trip to Alaska. Two nights we stayed at the Call of River B&B
..what a find, you will not be disappointed. Located on the Kenai River this wonderful home is tastefully decorated and landscaped. Hosts provided breakfast and Judy even made us sack lunches for our King salmon fishing trip.

We visited the Call of the River B&B for two nights on our honeymoon. This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. I thought it was going to be like staying at a strangers house. I was wrong! It honestly felt like home. It was quiet and comfortable with some excellent scenery to go along with it. Jim and Judy are truly some of the finest people in Soldotna. They served us a delicious home cooked breakfast, Judy even packed lunches for us for our afternoon outings! And then on top of it they gave us a bottle of wine. Jim and Judy make the married life in Alaska look easy and fun, they are a real inspiration to us as newlyweds.

This is the second time we have stayed at Call of the River. The accomodations couldn't be better - it is just like being at home!

There is a kitchen downstairs to cook in, with everything you could possibly need, and a family/dining room to enjoy relaxing and game playing. We have stayed in two of the rooms so far - there is plenty of room for 2-3 in the smaller rooms, or 4 or more in the larger room, each with separate baths. The entire house is tastefully decorated in an Alaska theme.

Breakfast is the highlight of the morning, with a large, full cooked meal served at their dining room table upstairs. Fish for salmon off of their dock on the Kenai River, filet it and have it ready to cook for dinner.

This B&B is centrally located on the Kenai peninsula, about 5 minutes from Soldotna, and and easy drive to either Homer or Seward.

The owners are wonderful - they couldn't be more helpful and friendly! We highly recommend this B&B!
