Homer is one of the most strikingly beautiful, interesting and eclectic places in Alaska. And this B&B is the perfect headquarters for enjoying it--starting with the hosts who were always helpful and accommodating. Aside from great tips and advice, Doug pulled out all stops to have the wood-fired hot tub ready for us after the fantastic day's hike on Grace Ridge Trail. Our room, Katchemak Quarters, was large and comfy, the bed was unusually comfortable, and the views always there to make Homer's beauty 24x7. In fact, that's why we liked to bring dinners back "home" to enjoy at the table in front of the window. Although the rooms are not set up for cooking per se, the gas grill outside, mini-fridge and eating tables make it possible.
