We spent one night here as we had actives to attend in Copper Landing, we had a king size bed on the third floor. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable, there is also a large separate community sitting room across from our room to sit and relax.

We had a fishing trip scheduled for the next day and pulled in pretty late, but were pleasantly surprised to find this clean and friendly location waiting for us. We hadn't had a confirmation for our fishing trip, so George called and confirmed for us! And even though we had to be up and out early, breakfast was waiting for us and we easily made our time.
The bed was comfortable which made getting up pretty hard!! Great place.

George & Shirley are great hosts and can direct you to where ever you want to go or give advice on what to do in the area. The nightly campfires were great....we got to know so many people staying at the The Hutch. The rooms were clean, breakfast choices were more than adequate. They have a great outdoor area where you can grill your catch of the day!

Tks Shirley and George for sharing your little piece of heaven in Cooper Landing. Great beds and a lot of hot water for showering. We had the best internet service at the Hutch during our two weeks in Alaska. Short drive to Seward and Soldotna, longer to Homer. Loved George's fire pit "building" that will last forever for those guest to tell tales around the fire about the fish that got away. Hope to stay again and this time we will do some fishing.
