“Fantastic all round”

We stayed here on our honeymoon after reading the fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor, and were not disapointed. We even rearranged our holiday dates so we could stay here. Everything was fantastic, from the room, the location, to the staff. We loved our time here and hope to return one day. The Etu Moana deserves all the credit it receives. Truly paradise!

We spent our honeymoon here and couldn't have enjoyed it anymore. Everything was so well thought through and the attention to detail was exact.
It was the most romantic place I have ever been to.

“Best memories of Perfect Honeymoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

It has been a year since our honeymoon, Etu Moana left us with such wonderful memories of Aitutaki and the beginning of our marriage together. We stayed in villa 1 for 10 days and were very extremley impressed with everything Etu Moana offered us. Jim and Joanne, all the staff were wonderful hosts, they truly made every day of our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We really felt at home with their lovely smiles and sometimes, their beautiful singing. We felt like special guests from the first day we arrived to our last day.

For Christmas, it was so lovely to see a tropical Christmas Tree and to recieve a beautiful Christmas breakfast with champagne and a small gift that we have treasured. We were especially impressed with how Jim and Joanne cared for their staff, having a Christmas breakfast and scavenger hunt over the whole island ending at their suprise location dinner.

We coudn't ask for anything more from Etu Moana, the staff, food, venue, everything about this beautiful place is amazing! I personally am so thankful that the ladies helped me when I was sick, urging me to go to the doctor and even drove me there. They truly went out of their way. We absolutely agree with all the positive ratings and reviews from others. I'm glad my husband organised the whole honeymoon, and booked villa 1, one year in advance.

“Honeymoon -Part 2”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

This was the second leg of our honeymoon in the Cook Islands. We had wanted to have the entire honeymoon on Aitutaki but were talked out of it by our travel agent as she said "There is nothing to do". While we loved Rarotonga if we could go back in time we would have had the entire honeymoon on Aitutaki. It is a truly unique spot and Etu Moana must be the jewel in the island's crown. Wonderful staff provided a very warm welcome first at the airport and then at the resort. Our villa was lovely. While we were one back from the beach and couldn't share the entire sunset it was still great. The facilities with a lovely pool and honesty bar were great and a lovely breakfast was put on by the pool each day. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who made all of our dinner and activity bookings. We wish we had longer there, would love to return and highly recommend.

Room Tip: Absolute beachfront woulld be best to enjoy the full sunset from the luxury of your own room.
