We spent 4 days there around Christmas. Contrary to their ad, it is not a house but a half duplex, so you have another guest immediately next to you, and the owners live on the other side of the little pool, no privacy to speak of. The house is in the middle of a village street, where tied up dogs bark all night right under your bedroom windows, roosters from 2 am, neighboors get up at 5 a.m. and start their lawnmowers, trimmers, any engine they can lay there hands on, so we did not get ANY sleep. When we arrived, there was no lock on the door, no seat on the toilet, no cofee maker, no TV ("waiting for the satellite box" eternally- but no price reduction to compensate), etc. They did not even understand why we need all these and were upset that we have such expectations. The second day we got a padlock on the front door, the toilet seat and a cofee maker. No TV though.
Not much furniture other then beds. During the holidays, the owners set up a huge party in the garden which belonged to our rental, all night drinking, music, etc. When we complained, we were told not to come to French Polynesia ever again. The rental includes a small car, which they handed over with half tank, but they wanted a full tank back.
Very unfriendly people, they only care about money but not their guests. I would not send my enemies there. It was a nightmare.
