The welcome from Roland and Edmée was warm,dynamic and to the point on matters of information. The cadre was magnificent and relaxed us immediately. The superb continental breakfast included home made tropical fruit jam and own garden tropical fruits with excellent coffee. It is very encouraging for the future of this residence to see that the owners are investing in a programme of renovation.

Edmée & Roland are wonderful hosts, who made us feel at home right away. For us there's no doubt: should we have the chance to return to Moorea, then we'll be staying at Linareva again.

Résidence Linareva's wonderful location is the perfect place to relax, do some sea-kayaking, watch nurse & blacktip reef sharks from the jetty, enjoy the sunsets, ... and as base for sightseeing tours & island walks.

This was our 3rd time at Linareva. By far the best. New owners , new kitchens and bathrooms. Linareva has a bit of everything. kayaking, jumping off the jetty, snorkling with sharks, biking and surfing. As a keen surfer I was excited to here Roland (owner) is getting a boat to ferry surfers to the local break as it is a bit of a long paddle.
It can be as busy or relaxing as you want .
I have recommended Linareva to several friends who have all really enjoyed their stay.

I (33, German girl, living in beautiful California) stayed more than a week in Linareva and enjoyed it a lot. I was travelling alone, seeking a quiet place to relax and found a little paradise.
The bungalows are all very beautiful, individual, very well maintained, the service is great, the location stunning (as the entire island) and perfect for any activities as snorkeling/hiking/whale watching/diving trips. The owners are great people, very helpful, fun and make the stay at Linareva an unique very personal experience.
The place is perfectly suited for couples, families, but also single travelers, especially if you want to escape the typical hotel experience. Nevertheless the residence can easily keep up with a neat hotel, everything is very clean & you can either cook yourself in the well equipped kitchens or order very good food at the pension for reasonable prizes.
In addition there is a great reef in front of the pension pier where you can see big nursesharks, reefsharks & all kinds of other fish. Alternatively, you can also take kayaks and explore the gorgeous lagoon or go around the island by bike, both included in the fees.

I would always stay at Linareva again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moorea. Shoot me a mail if you have any questions.
